CINEMA
Modern // Timeless // Ephemeral
Although Cinema is truly one of the most modern forms of artistic expression, it instantaneously demanded an irreplaceable and timeless role in culture due to its one of a kind ability to capture the most ephemeral and enigmatic moments of expression in the human condition. Cinema is an ever evolving art-form that serves our humanity vastly, building connections and relationships instantaneously on a global scale, and I am proud to have dedicated my life to pushing the boundaries of expression in this realm of finding, recording and delivering human connection through a moving image.
Another Number Documentary - Director of Photography
Working alongside Director Darren Barzegar to shed light on the American mental health crisis through the lens of a personal story of one family’s struggles and triumphs has been a deeply rewarding experience. Filming these incredibly personal stories requires a sensitivity and consideration towards the subjects that I have become known for.

Fight Like Mike
Director / Editor / Camera Op
Following Mike Cimbura’s struggle with ALS, the FDA and his family’s beautiful commitment to each other was the single most impactful experience of my life. Mike’s willingness to fight for his future, as well as the future of other terminally ill patients around the country has led to lasting change, and being able to document and celebrate his resilience and success cemented in my mind that documentary film-making is my calling. I am eternally grateful to you and your family. This project went on to be recognized by the NATAS Heartland Emmy Chapter for Outstanding Achievement in Short-Form Non-FIction.
Thank you again Mike, Nicole and the entire Cimbura Family.

Moya’s Tacos Campaign - Creator
When Moya’s Tacos began looking for funding to expand their restaurant operations and upgrade their equipment, they reached out to me to highlight their story and community impact. Strategically, I created a digital marketing initiative for them that went far beyond the creation of a simple video asset. The campaign focused on producing multiple deliverables such as food stills, different edits and platform specific cut downs to be shared in a multi-phase content plan to ensure maximum engagement and reach. These posts emphasized Jesse’s story, community impact, and a clear call to action. In parallel, I focused a modest paid promotional campaign on the content that was already receiving the best organic engagement to boost the campaign’s reach and amplify the message. Ultimately, this project was a major success, allowing Moya’s Tacos to make the vital upgrades to its business while also increasing their long term brand awareness across their market.

Tonguebyte Music Video and Campaign - Creator
When I entered the media production world over a decade ago, one of my main goals was to empower musicians to grow by producing high quality digital content for them on an affordable budget. Of the many artists that I have worked with over the years, Fort Collins based band, Tonguebyte stands out as an amazing client. There was a lot of mutual trust during the process of creating this work, and when it came time to share it, we strategized together to make sure that it had an impact on their growth. This video was part of a strategic pivot by the band towards a lower key, more jazz centric songwriting style. I approached the video with that in mind, making sure that the tone and edit reflected their goals, and then stuck with them all throughout the release process creating multiple phase released assets for their new single. The promotional strategy was a major success, and it’s always a thrill to hear them play this song live any time I get the chance.

America’s Forests With Chuck Leavell - Camera Operator
This episode of America’s Forests With Chuck Leavell was produced by Choose Outdoors and 42 Degrees North and follows the process of choosing and transporting The National Christmas Tree from the Western Slope of Colorado to Washington D.C. It was truly a privilege to work with legendary musician Chuck Leavelle of The Rolling Stones and the Allman Brothers Band, Director Kate Raisz, Director of Photography Ken Willinger, Executive Producer Bruce Warner and the rest of the team as a camera operator on this show.

Beaus of Holly - Camera Operator
Working with Director Anthony Ferrante, best known as the creative force behind the Sharknado franchise, was certainly an interesting experience. The emphasis on visual effects and post production was second to none, and unlocked an entirely new perspective for me on how a film can be made. Director of Photography Ryan Broomberg had high expectations and endowed an everlasting appreciation in me for procedure and professionalism on set.

Halfday Lemonade Campaign - Creator
Creating and filming this 20 second spot for Halfday, an emerging prebiotic beverage manufacturer was focused primarily on highlighting the simple, natural ingredients, reinforcing brand identity through tonal contrast and color choice, and encouraging consumers to try something new inviting them to be surprised by how much flavor and prebiotic goodness could be packed into one little can.

Sierra Nevada Launching Big Campaign
Working in the camera department for The Other Guys Films on this spot was a lot of fun but came with some major challenges due to the on-set conditions of high winds and near freezing temps. As nice and sunny as the spot looks, it was actually shot in Colorado in January. Nothing but respect to the entire crew on this one, but especially the actors.

Experimental and Stop Motion Work
I find inspiration most of all in the expressive nature of moving picture media. Using innovative and timeless techniques such as clay modeling, time-lapse and chroma key, I focus on creative images which evoke emotional connection for the viewer. The goal of this work is to push the boundaries of my relationship with this art, and capture something truly unique.
